Men’s fashion has indeed become one of the most talked about things in fashion nowadays. Fashion is basically the urge to present yourself in the best way possible. Fashion can be your clothes or your general style or even your attitude. In any sort of profession, a good sense of fashion often adds a kick to your status. Appearance does count and all of us would agree that it is no surprise that it does.
First impressions last long nowadays. There is an immense proliferation of the visual medium in our lives and indeed we need not have to think twice about looking good and its virtues the moment we consider the visual media. Effective fashion can win you fans. It can also get you a promotion. And of course it can turn a few heads to say the least. Try on that tie that you always thought was a little too good to wear. Flash it around and you will see the changes in perception round you. Whose perception are you changing? Not only of those who you meet for the first time but all your relations, your family and friends too, can be impressed once again. But it is a subtle art which you have to master at any cost. So go on and see how well you can mater it.
• Try and understand what people like. The current trends are always helpful signs of good fashion. The latest is always appreciated and you should go for it. Do not be shy to try on new things. Men’s fashion has been ignored by men for long now. It is time now to dress up with a vengeance! Go out and sport the best of clothes and you will see the changes immediately.
• Do not forget the bare minimums. Detail is always appreciated in any kind of fashion. Accessories always have an impact, especially if you are the traditional male dresser which does not give you much to experiment with. The sudden glint of your cuff link might really give you that fashionable edge even when you are wearing the same old dinner jacket. The basic minimum is really important ion men’s fashion.
• There can be three general categories of male dressing. These are the conventional, the trendy and the avant garde. The last kind is for those who want to shock and thus impress. The conventional is of course the category with the most number of people. The trendy is for the new male shopper who buys all new stuff and makes a statement out of them.
Men have been lagging behind in this one thing till now, that is, fashion. They really have top catch up and as we have tried to tell you, there are indeed many reasons why you should catch up. Fashion is an intrinsic part of our lives nowadays. You cannot but be fashionable. Even if you think that you are not interested in fashion, you will soon realize that there are at least a few things which you cannot but have preferences for when it comes to dressing. So don’t be all restrictive and go ahead and dress up! Men’s fashion is here to stay.

The Necessity of Being Fashionable
We are possibly the only living beings on this earth who have the ability to dress up to the occasion and make ourselves not just a mere bundle of cells, nerves and tissues but also present us as artistic objects from which aesthetic pleasure can be obtained. When we realized that our skin itself can’t afford us all the protection from the harmful rays of the sun, mechanical injuries, shocks of an electrical nature, etc, he wove for himself clothes out of the fabric spun from natural fiber like cotton jute, hemp and flax. As time flew by, he or she eventually got bored of wearing the same old clothes everyday and he started experimenting with different materials for different seasons. Soon festivals took the place of seasons and he ascertained a particular costume for each ritual.
As the human society became socially, politically and culturally more complex, man’s desire to express the artistic bent of his personality increased in leaps and bounds and eventually, he reached the twenty first century. In the present millennium, we are flooded by a range of choices, of choosing from retro, present or futuristic styles and in such magnanimous quantities and qualities, that practically no man feel left out. More than even women, men have realized the importance of being fashionable.
Metro Sexuality?
No, not really because, decorating one self up is akin to playing music or painting a picture or just simply writing a blog post. It’s just another means of saying, hey, look this is how I feel and this is how I blend into human society. Narrowing it down to metro sexuality is leaving out a lot of people who possibly do not even know what the term means and shirk from it for the fear of being tabooed.
How can a Man become Fashionable?
First of all, get that silly thought out of your mind that your size or physical deformity acts like hindrance in your way of being a style con. Your mind is your only barrier and who said, you have to be part of the in group to look well and feel well. Remember, fashion is all about wearing what you are comfortable in and what you can carry off in the situation you are faced. You’d obviously not go to work in a factory in a Reid and Taylor suit nor would you attend the dinner at a Posh club dressed in just your underwear. Then again, if you do these and can carry it off, the entire world will bow down to your attitude.
Some Simple Things to Lookout For
Know the colors that look good on but don’t stick to them throughout the year. That way you will turn yourself into just a nobody. Mix and match with the texture, patter, and quality of fabric to bring out the real you. Colors are not just of a contrasting nature, they can be supplementary, complementary and intermediary to cascade a whole range of emotions. You can be particular about the placement of pockets, the individual stitching of parts and even the additional accessories you carry, like watches, tie pin, cuff links, to make a holistic impression.

Online forums are a great place to interact with like-minded users and to gain insight and information concerning a specific topic. But just like in face-to-face interactions certain social manners should be employed when participating on a forum.
What is a forum? A forum is defined as a public meeting place for an online community to openly discuss topics concerning the community.
Manners are essential when interacting with people on the forum. When you behave mannerly you are considering your neighbor’s feeling more important than your own. When everyone uses good manners then there is a sense of peace on the forum.
What is forum etiquette? It is a standard of behavior that is acceptable and appropriate when posting on the forum.
Most all forums set standard guidelines for users with the exceptions of specific rules, regarding a particular group. Here are twelve general rules for communicating in an online forum.
1. Don’t post personal information about another user. (Compromising someone’s safety is grounds for removal on most forums.)
2. Disagreements and opinions are usually allowed, however it is important to remember to maintain common courtesy. Most forums will not tolerate name calling and swear words.
3. Never post in ALL CAPS this is considered rude and considered by most to be screaming.
4. Flaming is personal rants, which often include insults. Typically, the user post a long complaint filled with angry words. Usually, the moderator for the forum will contact the poster for disciplinary action.
5. Questioning the manner in which the forum owner or moderator conducts business usually will not be tolerated as an open discussion. Complaints of this nature need to be discussed privately with the forum’s owner and not an open debate for the entire community.
6. When responding to the opinions of others, remember to respect their views.
7. Never use the forum for marketing. This behavior causes fellow users to think your sole purpose is to generate business and not to be a sincere user of the community.
8. Avoid controversial topics, especially politics and religion.
9. Avoid trolling – trolling is a person who enjoys carefully wording their post to incite arguments in a seemingly innocent manner. In their defense, when called into the open for their behavior, they blame the users on the forum for not understanding the meaning behind their post.
10. Try to post your topic in the correct category on the forum.
11. Avoid thread hi-jacking. This is when a user posts an off the subject topic to an already engaged thread. If you want to change the subject, open a new thread.
12. Use emoticons or symbols to help convey your tone. Another idea is to place your emotion or expression within parenthesis. For example, (((smiling)))
Conclusion
Participating in an online forum can be a great way to meet people with the same interest as you. Remembering good manners will help in interacting with users online. Most importantly, please remember if a post angers you, wait one or two days before replying or don’t reply at all.

The ascot tie is generally referred to as an ascot, and is a form of cravat that is traditionally worn at weddings in a pale grey shade of silk, frequently with a pattern. It is often worn with morning dress at weddings, involving traditional striped grey trousers and a cutaway morning coat with tails and a wing-collar shirt.
Its origin is the early nineteenth century cravat, formed from a heavy linen material and tied in an elaborate knot around the neck, being held in place with a stick pin, often of gold or silver. The dandy, Beau Brummell, is probably the best known person who sported such neckwear, though it was worn by most of the upper class and royalty as regular wear, and by the middle class at formal evening occasions.
As the nineteenth century developed, the middle class became more influential, comprising businessmen and the professional classes, and they started to adopt a less formal, but nevertheless just as distinguished form of neckwear based on the cravat. This was fashioned from silk, and even though it was a thickly woven silk, was nevertheless lighter than the traditional cravat.
Since it was frequently worn as the traditional neckwear of choice for the horseracing at the Ascot racecourse in Berkshire, England, it was given the same name. Keep in mind that this was during the late nineteenth century, and by the time of the early twentieth century and the Edwardian era when the royals attended the races, the ascot was not worn at Royal Ascot. By that time the neckwear had reverted to more traditional morning wear only.
In the UK, the ascot is now known as a day cravat, but not by the upper classes who regard a day cravat as another form of neckwear. The dress cravat is of a thicker more heavy woven material, and is more formal that either a day cravat or an ascot. The ascot is the commonly preferred neckwear of choice for traditional weddings involving morning suit and preferably Oxford shoes. Spats are also worn, but are not traditional wear.
Each of these forms of neckwear was developed to meet the needs of its own time. The progression is basically from the very formal, worn by the upper classes to the middle class businessmen, or ‘nouveaux riche’ to those who wore formal wear for special occasions such as horse races and, today, weddings. The ascot is still worn today as the dress of choice by many of the aristocracy and upper class, particularly during daytime events.
There are a number of ways how to tie an ascot, as there are for a regular necktie. The standard simple tie knot is generally used, whereby the ends are worn inside the shirt, while the more formal Ruche, which is much like a four-in-hand tie knot, is worn with the ends folded over outside the shirt and held in place by a pin. This is also referred to as the cocolupa knot when used in respect of an ascot.
The simple knot is less commonly worn outside the shirt with a pin, and it is socially preferred to wear either the cocolupa (ruche) in this way or a formal dress cravat as opposed to an ascot. However, when you use an ascot for a wedding, you can wear it as you wish because you want to look your best.
Many grooms wear the ascot under their shirt with a patterned waistcoat, or ‘vest’. Then, as previously stated, the cutaway tailed morning coat and striped trousers, followed by Oxford shoes or, less traditionally, spats. The ascot is strictly a type of day cravat rather than a tie, but many refer to it as an ascot tie and at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter.
What matters is that you look good in it, and if you wear it when you marry the person you love you can be sure that you will look your best and remember that day all of your life. It is also likely the only day that most men wear it, but why should it be? If you look good in it why not wear it more frequently? More men wear ascots and bow ties because more men don’t. Be different, be noticed, and stand out from the crowd!
For more information on ascots check out Ascot Ties and you will find details of other formal neckwear and other apparel for formal occasions such as tuxedo combos on Bow Ties and More

Silver Service is a way in which you serve food to guests/customers. The term itself comes out of England and you may have heard it by its other name ‘English Service’. Thought to be of high etiquette standards, silver service is most often found in sophisticated restaurants as opposed to your local breakfast cafe. However, whether you are looking for new ways to serve your food in a restaurant or if you are hosting a more formal event in the home - silver service can really set the right atmosphere.
All that being said, silver service doesn’t just have to be used at formal events or more exclusive restaurants - it is a good habit to learn for any time that you are serving food to guests or customers. How to set the table and lay out the cutlery is one of the key elements of silver service, followed by the actual serving of the food.
As well as being good etiquette, silver service also makes an event (especially when you are catering for a large group) far more simple and organized as you keep to a certain set of rules. Using silver service could take a little time to learn and get used to - but at the end of the day it will rescue you from a multitude of entertaining disasters!
The first rule which you will need to learn is how the food is served and how empty plates are later cleared from the table. Try to remember that the food is served to the left hand side of the guest and cleared from the right. Imagine that you are holding a plate of carrots to serve on to the guests plate. Hold that plate in your left hand and use your right hand to serve from their left side. “Serve to the left, clear from the right”. If you run that through your head a couple of times it will soon sink in!
Furthermore, when serving you must never make contact with the customer (such as an elbow in the face!) - it is very rude to lean over a customer and if you absolutely must then first make it known by excusing yourself beforehand.
The next lesson in silver service is the use of cutlery when serving. For most, this will be the hardest part to do - but as with everything, practice does make perfect! It is perfectly acceptable to use either a spoon and a fork together or two forks - whichever you find the easiest. With one hand you will be grasping the piece of food between your chosen cutlery and placing it neatly on to their plate. As with chopsticks, there is a certain position to hold your fingers so that the spoon and fork open and close with ease - you might want to watch some videos or diagrams to see how it is done.
Once you have these essential skills you can begin to set the table for your first attempt at silver service. It is always important that all glasses and dinnerware are thoroughly clean before proceeding.
One rule of setting out the cutlery is to have the first course at the outer side and the final course will be closest to the plate. Wine and water glasses are always above and to the right hand side of the dinner plate - it is usually a set of three glasses in a triangle shape. The water glass will be at the front and the two wine glasses set behind.
Final touches could include a fabric napkin folded into the glass or on the plate - there are many fancy ways of folding, so you might want to look into those methods further.
It might sound like a big effort to make - but it will be worth it and your guests will feel extra special, appreciative of your efforts and perhaps even jealous of your skills!

The earlier forms of graffiti styles were inscriptions and figure drawings that were found in the cave walls and ruins of ancient building. During the prehistoric times, this was a form of painting on the cave walls using animal bones and certain pigments to give the drawings some colour. These paintings mostly consisted of topics involving wildlife and hunting and were positioned in important and sacred places within the cave. This sort of graffiti styles is indeed an art form.
Graffiti is nothing but drawings or slogans that is scratched, inscribed or painted on a surface. Today it is no more a form of art but vandalism where people destruct public property by scribbling on them. This is not only illegal, but spoils the appearance of your surrounding. It also causes disturbance and insecurity among the neighbourhood due to the violent nature of this act.
Either a person is involved in graffiti or there could be a gang behind it. The graffiti styles followed by an individual could be tags which are simple one coloured moniker, or throw ups which are an extension of tag done using more than one colour, or they could be pieces which are quite elaborate in nature, detailed and complete.
Tags are usually generic or conventional graffiti which has non-threatening messages like random symbols, or initials, declaration of love, or graduating years and so on. Some people use graffiti to vent out their frustration by writing abusive language on the walls. On the other hand Gang graffiti is used to indicate gang territory. These inscriptions could be symbols or letters known to the gang members and law enforcement, like offer for drugs to potential buyers or warnings and threatening messages to their rivals.
If a person or gang involved in graffiti is caught, legal actions may be taken like imposing fines on them or on their parents or guardians if they are minors, suspending certain privileges like vehicle license, arrest or imprisonment depending on the nature of the graffiti content.
Though it may not be possible to stop graffiti entirely, it can be controlled to a great extend by educating the citizens on the vandalism caused by this and asking them to report immediately if they encounter any. As soon as a graffiti is found, remove it at the earliest, as studies show once removed, the chances of graffiti occurring in the same place is very less. Impose heavy fines and restrictions on graffiti vandalism.
In California there are laws that prevent minor teens from buying spray paints as it is the most common tool for graffiti artists. Yet it can be done using even shoe polish or etching tools or even a simple pen that is capable of leaving a permanent mark on the surface. Most graffiti inscriptions are very difficult to be removed and are permanent. They may not be removed by even repainting the surface.
The term “graffiti” was initially used by archaeologists to depict drawings and writings on ancient structures but today the very same graffiti styles generate fear in people.

Goths are simply a small community of people who are comfortable with one another. Literally Goths are people who practice free thinking and not tied by the moral and social rules around him. People become Goths either because of some unpleasant experience from the society that makes him want to get away from it, or simply because he enjoys the free life of Goths. They stand out by the Goth fashion that is unique to them- that is dark and horrendous shades.
A typical Goth fashion has a very dark and melancholic look about themselves with black hair, black lips and black clothes. Most of the time, the styles are genderless, with both men and women using cosmetics, heels and even skirts. Cyber Goth fashion is influenced by the gothic culture and also by science fiction. Contrast shades are used like black and white.
They may have body piercing. Wigs and artificial plastic falls that are braided are used at times. Hair is styled in an absurd manner to suit the personality of these untamed punks and give them a futuristic look.
Goths have a liking for wild, trance like club music and enjoy the night life. They are basically open minded and willing to have new members in their closely knit community. As this community is free of prejudices it consists of a large number of gays and people without conservative religions concepts and views. They are not reluctant to talk openly about topics that are taboo to the general society.
Certain movies and bands like The Crow and the Bauhaus further played a key role in establishing Goth fashion as dark, dismal and even evil. The depiction of Goths in media has encouraged this community to grow to such an extend that every major city has a strong gothic community to their name, not to mention the huge number of Goth bands around.
Despite the notorious nature of Goths in the society, one has to admit that Goths do have style. And because of that Goth fashion has become common among the youths too. The common misconception is that Gothic style means simply black clothes with black eye makeup and vampire-like look.
The goth fashion came into trend in late 70s which stood out with their characteristic standing hair dyed jet black, shaved on the sides with pale skin, tight clothes and lots of silver jewellery besides tattoos and body piercing.
These days too Gothic fashion uses black as the base colour, but it is contrasted with bright bold colours, weird hair dos and makeup and wild accessories. There is no hard and fast rule on what to wear to attain the Gothic look. You can experiment on whatever is comfortable to you, by using loose flowing clothes or tight trousers and corsets or a combination of both.
Gothic fashion makes use of various gothic cultures, beliefs and lifestyles without any restrictions or boundaries, because of which it does not fail to make a fashion statement.
I am basically a graduate at the University of Hamburg and you can get awesome articles and valid information from the ones which I submit specially for you to take a look at. Check out Goth Images, Goth Graphics or Goth Pictures.

Nearly four out of five people own a cell phone in the United States. The delight behind owning a cell phone is that a person can carry on a conversation from place to place anytime they want. Bear in mind that if everybody who owned a cell phone carried a conversation anytime, anywhere they were…the world would be very loud and confusing with tons of noise and disruption. Here are some proper etiquette techniques you should apply when you’re using your used cell phone in public.
How To Handle Phone Calls In A Doctor’s Waiting Room
You’re sitting in a doctor’s waiting room, waiting to be called back. Suddenly, your phone rings. You decide to answer it and it’s someone who wants to know what you been up to, how you been and what you’re doing at that moment. You decide to carry on the conversation and end up getting in a long conversation in which you tell the caller about your personal problems. The conversation turns into a talk about the problems in your marriage, the reason for your current medical visit, and details you heard about another friend. You look up from your cell phone conversation and notice that every person in the waiting room is watching you. You blush and consider that maybe this isn’t the best place to carry this kind of conversation. If you want this kind of conversation, the best thing you could do is text back and forth so no one else hears about your personal business.
How To Handle A Phone Call During A Baseball Game
You decide to go to a baseball game and, of course, bring along your used cell phone. As you’re watching the game, you choose to call some friends at home to tell them what’s going on. As you carry on the conversation, an argument ensues regarding something about the house you all live in; the game is all but forgotten and you get louder. Somebody in the stands yells for you to shut off that blackberry so they can concentrate on the game rather than on you. Needless to say… public places like this are not an ideal place to hold a personal conversation. If you must take an important phone call, get up, leave the stands and hold the conversation elsewhere. It’s either that or text your conversation.
Public Phone Etiquette: Helpful Suggestions To Use A Cell Phone Properly
When you find yourself in a public place and you must take the call, consider moving about 15 feet away from other people so that you do not disrupt them with your conversation. If you’re unable to do this, consider asking the caller if you can text them or if you can call them back at another time. If you’re in a noisy environment with other people on cell phones, don’t answer your ringing cell phone. Chances are they caller will be unable to hear you well. Cell phones are great because they enable people to be in touch all the time…however they do not require people to be in touch all the time. This article shows how there are countless examples of times when it really is okay to not answer the phone despite the fact that you have the phone in your pocket or purse and are able to.
Scott Bradshaw writes articles that focus on cell phones, cellular apps, and mobile services. He encourages people to save money with used cell phones and avoid signing contract extensions by purchasing refurbished cell phones.

Fashion statement reflects your personality. The way you dress shows who you are. They are solely responsible for the first impression you set on others. It is just not enough to be highly qualified or carry a boastful biodata, you need to be very well dressed too. Most of the people out there judge you by your appearance because presentation is an important aspect of your personality and the way you deal with others. If you do have a personal sense of style, you should be equally adept at carrying off whatever you are wearing gracefully.
Most of the things are expensive and a wardrobe makeover does not come at an inexpensive price. Therefore it is necessary to be cost effective and go for smart purchases rather than expensive ones even when it comes to buying dresses for yourself. If you thing that the word debonair just goes for the rich people out there then you are mistaken. These days you can dress well at affordable prices if you are a little aware of the market and its various offers and styles .All you need is a thorough research and simple tips to be kept in mind before purchasing.
Start at the Roots
• You need to choose the kind of fabric that you can wear throughout the year. It is advisable that in accordance to what fabric suits you, you wear one particular kind of fabric throughout all seasons.
• In case of colors you need to be aware of which colors complement your complexion and which suits your personality.
• Also keep a track of the annual sales offered by most of the retail stores and private shops. For cost effective purchases that is if you intend to buy some really good dresses at affordable and inexpensive rates then this is the best time to get it.
Make the Most of your Wardrobe.
• You can always expand your wardrobe with the existing pieces of attire that you already possess. This can be done by purchasing reversible clothing by which you can get more with less. You can always create two styles out of just one dress, this way your wardrobe will also appear bigger.
• One should remember that just wearing the right attire is not enough if you end up complementing it with the wrong accessories. Shoes are an equally important aspect of dressing perfectly for any occasion. However, this, by no means mean that you have to get expensive brands for the right pair of shoes that match your dress. Instead you should check out those shops which can give you a wide variety of smart looking shoes at reasonable prices. This way you can up your style quotient at affordable prices.
• It is necessary to pay heed to your other accessories like your watches too. Watches are one of the things that you can get a huge variety on even at inexpensive rates. They might be the use and throw ones but they are better as you can get different types at low rates especially during festivities.
Cufflinks are not as inexpensive always but they do come in a huge variety and if you know exactly where to get the best buys, then one kind can serve for many dresses.
